He became sinThe message was from 2 Corinthians 5:11-21 and deals with the ministry of reconciliation where we are implored to be reconciled to God. The following two questions then are asked:
Who knew no sin
That we might become His Righteousness
He humbled himself and carried the cross
Love so amazing
Love so amazing
Chorus:
Jesus Messiah
Name above all names
Blessed Redeemer
Emmanuel
The rescue for sinners
The ransom from Heaven
Jesus Messiah
Lord of all
- What should I do?
Knowing that our chief task and purpose is to glorify God 1 Cor 10:31 and that our citizenship is in heaven Philippians 3:20 we have an obligation to be an ambassador for Christ. - Why should I do this?
Being an ambassador for Christ must never be a chore but a privilege resulting from an overflow of a joyful heart.
- We are being prepared for an eternal weight of Glory 2 Corinthians 4:17-18
- Knowing the fear of the Lord we persuade others 2 Corinthians 5:11
- The love of Christ controls us 2 Corinthians 5:14
